Album: when Eye Meets eye
Year: 2007
Genre: post-rock, shoegaze, ambient
Web: official, last.fm
The ingredients are quite usual and generic: beats, programmed and looped drums, typical shoegaze processed guitars, intimate folk guitar, layers of sound, and melancholic, shy, adolescent vocals. But now the coldness is gone and has been replaced by bright, warm ambiences and dynamic, addictive melodies. Listening to Sans Arc is equanimit moment when you wiill go to fall asleep or take a rest your mind. One of my favorite 2007 albums is Sans Arc "when eye Meet eye".
From Monument To Masses - Schools of Thought Contend

Album: Schools of Thought Contend
Year: 2005
Genre: Post-rock, Instrumental

When I start to run my activity, "From Monument To Masses - Schools of Thought Contend" is the album always I listen at the first time. With their latest album, "Schools of thought contend.", FMTM chose to collaborate with a diverse group of artists as well as record two new studio tracks. The result is an album that showcases the band's new musical directions and presents radical interpretations of songs from their previous full-length, "The Impossible Leap in One Hundred Simple Steps." with sounds ranging from indie and electronic pop to drum&bass and post-rock. "Schools of thought contend." is not some "throwaway" remix album but a true notch in FMTM's discography that the band attests is as vital, representative, and artistically challenging as its last two album.
Efterklang - Parades

Artist: Efterklang
Album: Parades
Year: 2007
Genre: Post-rock, Ambient, Electronic
Web: Official, Myspace
"Parades" is the highly anticipated second album by Denmark’s Efterklang, the follow up to their underground hit of 2004, "Tripper". Comprising 11 majestic, otherworldly pop songs, "Parades" manages to be both magnificently ambitious and engagingly intimate; a breathtaking panorama of sound with few clear antecedents. Music with no boundaries. In a parallel universe, songs like ‘Mirador’ and ‘Caravan’ would be number one forever. Completely focus in on the song structures, multiple pianos, strings, shouting choral arrangements, strange rhythms, all forming this huge sonic web of beauty and power, actually extremely emotional at times.
The Ghost Orchid - The Ghost Orchid

Album: The Ghost Orchid
Genre: post-rock, ambient, instrumental
Year: 2008

Talk about this album, This is really masterful, especially I like the song “a Way Home”. Ethereal music coming from ambient/post-rock outfit the ghost orchid only highlights its most spectacular and amazing band. The Ghost Orchid seeks to create a sound that encompasses the intensity, beauty and sorrow of the human experience by translating these emotions as soundtracks for everyday life.
Immanu El - They'll come, They come

Album: they'll come, they come
Genre: post-rock, shoegaze, experimental
Year: 2007
Web: official, myspace
Immanu El is a young Swedish band with a sound of guitar and keyboard soundscapes, low key, captive singing and with somewhat of a moving nordic presence. The music is focused on post/indie rock sounds in variated dynamics. Like many other Swedish Post-Rock bands, Immanu El's music focuses on vocals even more so than bands like Logh, Ef and September Malevolence. Debut album "they'll come, they come" was released in the fall of 2007. Immanu El's music can be seen as a combination of ambient, Indie Pop (mainly because of the vocals) and Post-Rock. The vocals are somewhat similar to Jonsi's from Sigur Rós and are sang in English. The music is very atmospheric and prefers to stay subtle and not loud. Highly recommended for fans of Sigur Rós, Ef, Gregor Samsa and other Post-Rock bands that emphasizes on vocals."(Ruben Dario)
Logh - North

Album: North
Genre: post-rock, indie rock, alternative
Year: 2007

North is the fourth album by swedish post-rock band Logh. It was released in 2007.
Well,The first time I listened this album and I call this album is a masterpiece. You know the one if you've listened to it, singing with an echo effect. Together these band work flawlessly to craft a balanced album of significant accomplishment. We have different review for everything what we listen, but something that listened conduct and form to feel from what we listen like this album. Considering songs like "Saturday nightmares" (the first single from the record, do check out the amazing video as well), "The black box" and "Thieves in the palace", Logh should be acknowledged by a wider audience.
September Malevolence - After this darkness, there's a next

Album: After this darkness, there's a next
Year: 2008
Genre: post-rock, Indie
Web: official, myspace
One of the best band I listened this time. Few bands from Sweden lets the harmonies of indie rock and the dynamics of post-rock mix together with such an astonishing result. With their combination of hopeful melancholy, brief vocals and punishing musical climaxes, that is September Malevolence. September Malevolence is a brilliant band and After This Darkness, There's A Next is a brilliant album.
De La Mancha - Atlas

Album: Atlas
Genre: post-rock, shoegaze, indie rock
Year: 2008
Web: official, myspace
Atlas is the full length debut of the in Göteborg (Sweden) based band de la Mancha. With Atlas, de la Macha produces a post-rock sound inseminated with influences ranging from indie to psychedelic prog rock, lo-fi to electronic, but never in an overwhelming or misplaced way. With "Superstoned," for instance, the combination of some typical prog rock elements (never has a cowbell been more in place) and haunting vocals sounds renewing yet familiar, the fat synth that shows up every now and then will send shivers down your spine. Some of the influences of lo-fi and the use of electronic elements fit perfectly in the arrangements where everything has a well considered place and purpose. The innovative and refreshing sound makes “de la Mancha” stand out from the masses. The balance of dreamy psychedelic indie and post-rock, all with a melancholy you’ll only find in Sweden, works brilliantly, I might even dare to use the word addictive. Atlas has taken me to a magnificent high, only to smoothly bring me back down and leave me craving for more.
Balmorhea - River Arms

Balmorhea, pronounced Bal-moor-ay, are Rib lowe and Michael Muller from Austin, Texas. They self-released their second album in February 2008. combining influences from neo classical compositions embedded with classical, piano compositions, post-rock and and folk music. When listening, state of stress will disappear from your mind. "River Arms" is a fantastic album that should be enjoyed as much as possible.
WakeThisDay - Gaze Into The Beyond

Album: Gaze Into The Beyond
Year: 2008
Genre: Post-rock, Instrumental
Web : last.fm, myspace
The album takes inspiration from other instrumental and experimental bands, using guitar, bass and drums to create progressive songs with texture and feeling. Instead of playing riffs, instruments are used to create more expansive music, and guitar lines are the primary lyrical expression.
